It would work but you'd only be melting very small amounts of aluminum at a time. If you have a graphite crucible forget this and just build a fire around it. Pm theartofweapons or tilia about it they know more than I do

It goes up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, aluminum melts around 1200

If you'd make it three times the size you would certainly be able to melt a decent amount of aluminium!

The crucible that taow has may be able to fit one, + I will make it out if a bigger can but just the forge in general, will it melt aluminum?

Yes the temperature should theoretically be able to melt aluminum, but like I said theartofweapons would know more. (I've never successfully melted aluminum, many attempts but no luck. I need a decent crucible if I'm going to melt anything, but you've already got that so you should be fine)

You can do the same thing with a paint can. The Art of Weapons is a genius kid for this sort of stuff. Check his channel and you will be well informed.

I've seen all his videos it's just that my dad won't let me have such a big flame like taow forge. But my dad might let this one slide.

I like to use a paint can. Taow inspired me with that I have a bus drum brake for my forge you can get the paint can pretty hot
