I've read tons of differing opinions about flipping while you shoot so I came to my #1 slingshot source. Is it only necessary with low forks? Does it lower accuracy? Thanks.

According to Joergs slow motion studies, it has zero effect on accuracy. My rule of thumb (pardon the upcoming pun) is that it would be very wise to flip with any shooter that had the potential to hit your hand. I just look at it as cheap insurance
    Hope this helps

I generally flip on all my support style shooters as I am worried about hitting my thumb and finger. If I'm using one of my hammer grip slingshots I don't really bother. I have never seen any difference to accuracy
