I wonder what are the specs for making fist grip pouches for a 14mm ball? What size hole is needed to create the right tension on the ball?

It would seem so by the fitted hole for the ball..? Paging Dr, Tobias....calling Dr. Tobias (Greenthumb)?

I think this grip is a revolutionary and innovative improvement in butterfly shooting with powerful bands, and quite worthy of our attention.
that would make sense, but the hole is also there with some not-fistgrip pouches, isn't it ????

yes, but Tobias used one with a large hole which looked like it fit the ball and centered it which would also lock it in place.

I use this rule of thumb:

Center hole = 0,6 x bullet diameter

So for a 14mm ball, 8mm is about right.

Ok, so 8mm is the optimal hole size? I am going to buy punches to make this hole and holes for the bands, is there a preferred size for band holes and what is the best brand of leather punch in your opinion?

I am using 14mm lead, not steel. I was intending on using your single sheet 1:2 tapered cut of theraband blue...? Of course I will use gold and black also, when I can get some.
