    3/4in birch core and palm swells made from some hardwood flooring samples held together with gorilla glue.<br><br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0394.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0398.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0397.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0399.jpg" border="0" alt="">

Love the handle, but I think the fork is too high and too bulky. <br><br>Try this:<br><br><img src="http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/1736/forkjord.jpg" border="0" alt="">

Looks Great! Good suggestion Joerg I would also thin it out a bit. Unless you don't get fork hits often this design looks good. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">

I think it has promise. Use it as is and trim away all that's in your way or feels uncomfortable after you shoot it some.

I tried it out on one i made with no palmswells and I realy like it but out of a few hundred shots i did have a few fork strikes. so i will have to lower the V but i do like the placement of the bands on this frame.<br><br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0401.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br>you can sorta see the damage<br><img src="http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k524/jordthered/IMAG0403.jpg" border="0" alt=""><br><br><br><br>
