Okay guys, after finishing my first homemade carving knife, what's the next step? Carve a slinger of coarse! Unfortunately this one is promised to my buddy so I don't get to keep it. He picked this fork out the other day so it's his. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is but I think it turned out great. I just sent him the picture and he's excited. I carved it to fit and flattened out the forks a little. I then sanded it down, soaked in BLO and finished with CA glue. Just killed a can so I think it's a winner!
