File knife

    Okay here is my file knife I made a few years ago that I promised to post. I was never happy with the primary bevel or he handle. The main bevel was too thick so I thinned it down with a sanding wheel for a side grinder. I also rounded the oak handle more stained it with vinegar/rust solution and finished with CA glue. I also made the sheath. This joker is stupid sharp!

    A very nice knife!

    Hey Big,

    that knifebug is silently approaching my shop..
    Soon I will get an old water reservoir, rd. 8 gallons big..
    Chopping off top and bottom should result in a nice forge..
    I am really curious for forging!

    Hope my early works will be good enough to postthem here..
