hey guys maybe in the wrong topic but wanted to share my new ideas with u all. i was on you tube the other nite and saw thease home made flash bang that work by being thrown so i did some experminnting and suceded in down sizeing it enough to shoot from my wrist rocket. maybe not the greasted idea but fun and makes a good pop and flash so far no premature detanation just on impact. well thes my redneck tactical for the week

    Hey!
I don`t think exploding ammunition is a good idea, because you can ( depending on the explosive), blow fingers of of your hand by pressing too hard on your pouch when shooting. I know, it is fun to blow stuff up, but missing fingers are not worth it.

If you want exploding ammo, just get yourself some adult size snap poppers... a type of novelty firework that can be bought online from pyrodirect

Most everything else you can make for yourself will either be much to powerful where you run a huge risk of injury to yourself when it's fully drawn... as the explosive is near your eyes and ears. Or not powerful enough to make even a decent sized bang.

It might be a bit more viable to shoot at something somewhat explosive. that way your are not holding something explosive. I remember the stories growing up of people shooting m80s and blowing off their fingers and chunks of their body. its just not safe. Just be sure to be safe.
Yes that is a far better way to do it... and it's easy to do as well, a tiny bit of Nitrogen Triiodide and you're all set:

i don't think thats such a great idea. the ammo is going to be right in your hand, and right next to your face, i wouldn't risk it. it would be better to make the target explode when hit, so then you don't risk hurting yourself...

    Try shooting at this......
http://www.tannerite.com/shop/

The White-Lightning Rim-fireBinary Exploding Targets should work great but you will want to fire from a distance.

Do you tested it? I do not think you can set them of with the 55 joule of energy that a slingshot delivers. I think the best way to do this, is to get a primary explosive and when you still live after you produced it, you can shoot at it.

@Tobias: I have one box and will test it on the weekend.

Never tested it with a slingshot, only rife and pistol rounds. Next time I have some ill grab some leather, heavy jeans and a face shield and given it a shot.
