design program?

    i have seen people design slingshots on a computer before and wanted to try it, so do you know the name of any?

    For an outline (called blueprint here at SSC) you can try Inkscape (free). Search for tokSik. Or check thread here https://www.theslingshotforum.com/f9/messing-inkscape-31201/

    Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator are also great softs for line art.

    Sketchup is not really a CAD soft but suitable for blocking out rough shapes.

    For advanced CAD work you may check SolidWorks, Catia etc. Those are industry standards. SolidWorks is easy to learn, as far as I know they have learning packages.

    If you're not going with CAD but want to use polygonal modeling (higly detailed organic forms) you may choose Blender (free).
