I was in the Secret Santa exchange on the SSF and was lucky enough to be partnered with our friend Flicks. I sent him my 2 favorite forms of late and forgot to take any pictures of my own. (nervous I guess.) But Jens graciously gave me permission to use the photos that he had posted. Well, one thing leads to another and I forgot until I was looking for something else and got reminded that I had not shown them here. So, Here Ya go. A chalice done in Red Oak with Cedar swells and veneers on the forks with 10 coats of Tru-Oil. The next is a Derringer made of some mystery wood that came from someones trimmings. Linseed bath and waxed to bring out the grain and another bunch of coats of Tru-Oil. I kid you not: that one was kindo' hard to give away! Together a nice pair. Thanx again for your permission to use your photos Jens. Thanx for Lookin' and Happy Shootin'
