Things are going well with my orthopaedic students....clever guys, handy surgeons.....so I'm letting them do all the surgery and only supervise......this leaves me just staring at them...with a box full of surgical steel pieces!!!!!:D:D
So......I came up with this idea......(pictures taken in my home)

This will come in pieces.... Damn Ipad!

Nice! I see a simple way making it a hammergrip too.

Did you play a lot with lego as a kid? :D

Nice shooter, the Hammergrip idea was my first thought, but then I read the title another time and I knew what it would look like. I like it, what would I give for your supply on scrap high quality metal :D

That looks amazing. I love the shiny stuff you put together.

Its just begging for cord wrap or some leather laced up around it...

BV, foreign? you seem pretty normal to me, lol.(in America we use foreign to mean strange). Anyway, please tell me that as a kid in the 80s you saw the moie Predator starring everyones favorite Austrian, Arnold Schwartzeneggar(sp?). In the movie he yells get to the chopper(helicopter) as an alien is trying to kill him and his mates. However, in his thick accent and whilst running, it sounds like get to da choppa. It's still used as a comedic reference today when in a fierce hurry. I was really hoping that joke landed squarely, oh well. I've learned in life I can amuse some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of the time;).

Bad thing about being on a country where most people are very ignorant is that most movies are traslated instead of subtitled..... Specially in there early time.... I watched the "governator's" speech in portuguese....'vai,vai, pro helicóptero!!!corra!'....
I hate that. I've downloaded even the "zodiac knights"anime in original japanese for not loosing details!

Nice Idea, I look forward to your next Lego Projekts
We have the same problem in German, that the Jokes from the English Films get lost... So I also prefer to watch the Films in English.

FIAAO -I've played a lot with Lego

For both: I've tried to make a hammer grip with those....but the pieces have 4 mm thick and become very unconfortable when held in hammergrip.....suggestions?

Well wooden (or any other `scaleable` material) scales would be one option or you wrap paracord around it a few times so you get a nice thick grip.

Very nice BV. Looks a bit like "Terminator - Equipment":D
I would go as well with paracord. You can also slice a hose and put it around the corner and then wrap it with paracord.
