Great weather this weekend, perfect for some shooting. Banded up some of my slingshots and having fun!<br><br><br><br><div style="margin:auto;text-align:center;width:100%"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9GMTUR-3dz4/T9xvqWTtQvI/AAAAAAAAB00/Oi5ogH4bdW0/s1600/Shoot1.JPG" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9GMTUR-3dz4/T9xvqWTtQvI/AAAAAAAAB00/Oi5ogH4bdW0/s400/Shoot1.JPG" border="0" alt=""></a></div>
<br><br>I also tested a slingshot I finished this morning - a customized Cougar that I traded with a Gentleman from the US, who gave me an original and official flag from the 1972 Olympics (Munich) in return. It is quite big, about 2 meters 50 x 1,60. I have no idea what to do with it, but it is rare and I like that. <br><br><br><div style="margin:auto;text-align:center;width:100%"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K1bLP-37vIQ/T9xxO7qzGHI/AAAAAAAAB1g/LPBS71bTeA0/s1600/Flag.JPG" class="postlink" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-K1bLP-37vIQ/T9xxO7qzGHI/AAAAAAAAB1g/LPBS71bTeA0/s320/Flag.JPG" border="0" alt=""></a></div> <br><br>He wanted a wooden handle. I chose cedar wood, very nice red colors and fantastic smell. I oiled it with linseed oil and then polished it - came out nice! Shoots well in hammer grip and excellent in support grip. <br><br><br><div style="margin:auto;text-align:center;width:100%">

Jörg, I have seen on the picture that you shoot the Moorhammer in bronze as well in aluminium. Which one do you prefere regarding the shooting. I know the difference of the weight but what does this meen for the shooting in practize?

I personally prefer the aluminum version. The weight is perfect even for longer shooting sessions. The bronze version feels very good in the hand, too, and is probably nicer for collectors - but after 100 shots or so, you can feel the difference in your fork arm.

Ben, thanks, I like the Sheffield video too. But it was also the most time consuming and expensive video I made. I mean I travelled to the UK specifically for it. Too bad that it got so view views. My Zombie Hammer, put together from scrap and made in a couple of hours, was so much more successful on youtube. Oh well.

<span class="postbody"><br><br>Thanks for your thoughts. I think that makes my decission easy as I never did 100 shots with any slingshot in one session. I am normaly done with about 50-70 so I think it is better for me to go for the aluminium model as I am not a collector.<br><br>I think I should buy me one for my birthday in August <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_bounce.gif" alt="bounce" longdesc="27"></span>
