Hi freaks! Found a splited piece of plum in my fathers gardenshed a couple of weeks ago. As i was looking for a nice piece of wood to start my own branch of the conus family i took the plum home. The tools i used: handsaw, rasp, file and sandpaper (down to 320 grit) Dimensions of the GP are: 6,4 x 13,2 x 3 cm Special thanks to Arturo Borquez for posting his blueprints!
@Achso_42: that's extra light east german plum, thanks to Leuna-Buna-Bitterfeld for bleaching it! Maybe it's just the poor soil in my fathers garden....??
I love this design, and you just made a perfect ss from it! Very nice how its so clean with the wood grain lines. But why is it so big ?
the one in Arturos blueprint is shorter, sure. it's a great design and i just adjusted the size for my hands. If it would be shorter i couldn't rest the full palm of my hand on it
Beautiful CONUS Sidewalkerhunter, heart and surrounding colors and grain are fantastic ! ... congratulations my friend ! cheers Arturo
