I am building an arrow/fleshette for my crossbow.

The marking pen in the rear is used as a stopper for the concrete.

The black electrical tape is used to close the holes and to protect the cocking hooks.

1/2" CPVC tube with 3-1/2 nail centered and concreted inside.

The problem was how to center the nail inside the tube.

After a long thought process, the answer seemed obvious.

Measure where the center of the tube is, measure half the nail diameter, make shims to push the nail the exact amount to the center.

A plastic corner post level provides a perfect 90* V and gravity holds the CPVC and the nail at the correct position.

    FWIW.
