has some one ever shot a coin out of a sling shot?
Coins are in My Moneybag,
Don't want them shoot away, because I need them!
I don't think they will fly straight, but have a try!
Take some washers and see what they make, they are as coins?
I remember trying that as a kid and I recall that the coin flew erratically and smacked my hand on the way through the forks...if I remember right, my father also was not at all pleased with me shooting coins. I believe he hit a lot more than my hand!! Over all, not a happy experience for me!
I tried it and to be honest they fly pretty good and have nice sound when they fly
when i try it the other day it had a solid thunk when it hit the fence
and with that a quite satisfying thunk
When you have too much money!
its got a good distance of 30 to 40 feet its best at 25 to 30 feet
(all test where with a USA penny)
please post your tests
when i fined some washers i will test them too
Who does not honour the cent is not worth the euro
A saying in Germany
all i found where main event coins so now there up
about the same turnout its like 3 or 4 penny's put together = the main event coin
I glued 7 pennies together. Still waiting for the glue to dry, I think I should have gone with superglue instead of craft glue. 20 grams/.7 ounces. Will hopefully get to shoot it early this week.
Studer1972 do you have too much money?
Then send it to me!
Papermoney is the best to send per post!
This is an interesting experiment, but following my first experience using coins as ammo, I think I will stick to the more traditional route!
supper glue would have been better. it would have dried faster. but most likely not not as strong
if you have a high speed camera it braking apart would have been a cool video clip.
I think shooting washers(with sharpened edges) could work great and make some serious impacts with this kind of pouch...
Sure i' ll try it some day.
PS: Sorry guys for the childish drawing
