Will it be a clean kill or will this just barely kill it and make it suffer to death.

It depends upon your shooting skills ... I guess a good shoot kills almost instantly a squirrel ...

A 25mm steel ball out of that slingshot? No problem taking out a squirrel whatsoever. While you may be able to hit a can at very long range, I'd suggest getting as close as possible for hunting for the best chance of a precise shot and the least amount of loss of velocity and momentum.

ha OK, that's is a superb shooting skill (few known names can do it!) have you a video to share with us?, and why 25mm steel? you will need a huge hand/pouch, don't you think 12 or 14mm lead would be more than enough?

When i had first got into slingshots ( i was inexperienced ) i bought a bulk of 25mms because i though that bigger was better. And at this i dont have 250 yards of space. I have about 50 feet to do a vid but not much mor

Well I am sorry with that 25mm steel you bought, maybe you can sell them and buy more suitable ammo, you can also use short pieces of a steel rod, very cheap and good for hunting, I opened a thread HERE ...

I am sorry, but even 1611torsten one of the best shooters I have seen on the internet (with real proof, look him up on youtube) doesn't shoot past 150 yard or so from what I have seen of his videos. And why are you using that Chinese piece of crap if you have your own thera band equipped slingshots? Also how are you just finding out about commercial slingshots if you already new about thera band? sorry if I sound pushy, but there is just something fishy hear....
