Hi, first of all, im new here and i want to say Hello to all the others.

Here is my homemade Bullpup, not finished yet, but it works good, i will replace the tubes next month, the release took a while to get it workin, because it has to resist the strong tubes. at first time i used a plate of normal wood for the release, but the force of the tubes cracked it in the middle
the plywoood i use now works fine, think i have to change a few things, and give it a nice finish then, but im glad that it finally works

very very nice @!!

at school, I am a slingshot expert

on this forum a noob

Looks great!

The problem I always ran into with this kind of lock is that I found it very hard to load it under strain. That's why I only use this lock for slingshots that have a sliding fork or "receiver", so you can load the ball into the lock while there is no or very little draw weight.

Did you found a way around that problem?

Jörg
Hi Jörg, no, not yet. I added a long pouch so i can fold the leather before i put it between the two bolts of the release. but im thinkin about makin some kind of "loading tool", just like a handle with two hooks on it, basically shaped as the release, what can be opened after i moved the pouch into the release.
I like your twist on the bullpup... maybe one day I will make one, how does it shoot? Can you hunt with It?
Damn! That's really cool! Nicely done. A couple questions: Are the tubes Theraband black? And what diameter are the bolts that the tubes mount to at the rear?
Wow, we will surely see you during the zombie apocalypse.
Good modifications. But how is that trigger loose? Did you bolt it in the frame? Because the finger wont fit in to pull the trigger. May be you attached it later in correct position.
hello people thx for ur nice words.
so first, i only tried it a few times, so far it shoots well, but these are no theratubes, got them from a exercise-set i bought at a store, they were just for a try-out. i will replace them soon with theratube silver or theraband gold. they are quite strong, but not very fast.
the bolts got 8 mm diameter. as for the trigger, it works quite well as it is, i can easily stick my finger through, but the ppoint were it releases the marple is at the end of its action.

That is hell of a crossbow man awsome!
thx, actually i replaced the tubes with tb gold, maybe ill try theratube silver one day, today the pouch got ripped apart
hmm I think you can skip thera tube silver bescause it's too slow. I tried it on my crossbow and it didn't work out well although I had rollers, pretention and one meter of draw... and it was a bitch to load ^^

I saw the picture with red dot. I believe this thin ended short trigger must be a bit hard to pull. Ok I think the next one you are building should have long trigger to atleast fit two fingers on it. Thats what you might be thinking of. ))
