breaking bands

    hi folks.. i noticed that the place where my bands are attached to the catapult seems to be getting lose... the strip of band used to tie it seems worn out a bit.. i dont have any theraband to fix it so i wanted to know if there is something else i can use... any comments would be very helpful..<br>thanx <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2">

    <span class="postbody"><br>Ever try using mason line and half hitches? I have used this method to connect the bands on my fish hunter and after many shots it shows no sign of slipping. </span>

    I think you can use office rubber instead of TB. If you can find a large one it will be better, otherwise, use 2 or 3 smalls.

    Yep. I've used regular rubber bands. They work but don't last nearly as long as Theraband. I've also used strong cotton string with a constrictor knot.

    thanx guys!!!!! i ordered theraband strips but iam using regular rubber bands temporarily....holding well... <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png" alt="Very Happy" longdesc="1">
