Nice work! Looks like it could be lots of fun! I'm not sure if they would fit the barrel, but I've used foam ear plugs with sharpened wire as projectiles before. Very cheap and pretty nasty!

Great blowgun, tokSick! I made a similar one when Mike told us about them. They are really fun to shoot :)

Nice Blowgun! Have fun with that ;)
For the First time before Mike is Back you can try my Selfmade Ammo for my Airguns.

I take a Skewer as Bold.
For the "Fletching" I use, Notice Shields and Ducktape. And I have drop Wax into the "Fletching".
As Tip I take Nails and "Ear cleaner" or I harden Simple the Wood.
I use this over a Year and it Work Pretty Nice.

Realy nice one, but why are you shooting in the direction of the playground? Too much noise contamination?
Don´t do this, because the children have to pay for your pension. They will be punished enough.:D

    Thanks Slingpit.
It is not a playground it is a nursing home for old persons. Easier to shoot at 'cause they move really slow!!! [IMG]
Just joking, i never shoot at living creatures.

  10. Are you sure?

    I have seen you!

From time to time :) I made the "arrows" too heavy though.

I made arrows from a duct-tape cone and a long nail!

    making darts riiight?

ok here goes, using nails as shafts, i trace out coins of about 32mm in diameter onto paper or similar,

next i cut each one out, slicing a "wedge" out of each disk of paper, roll into cone, force nail through- stickytape.

next, cotton wool, PVA glue, stuffed into back of cone, allow to dry.
use superglue to seal back of cotton wool. well ventilated, cryanolitic glue and cellulose mixed with gelatin makes toxic fume, cant tell you which one, but it will de-activate the medula, so- ventilated! please.

next hard cones placed in bore of tube, trimmed to size, until you dont blow your eyeballs out when shooting.

Sorry if you cant understand, it is illegal here in OZ, to own such a toy, so take some time and try and decipher/make it out, from my garbled instructions.

"in theory" it takes 2 hrs for a handy person to make about 100 such items.
    bye for now.

    Great idea Roger!
For a less lethal approach, balls of clay are very effective. Particularly a dense, soft clay. I took one of these clay rounds in the side of the neck from over 12 meters and I thought I had been hit by a rock. Raised a huge welt!

Thanks all of you for the ideas. I' ll try the nails and duct tape method.

@ Joe: Very effective way for a piercing.
