A friend of mine wanted a beginner's version of te Moorhammer design. I made a wide forked frame (12 cm clearance between the fork tips).

He wanted blond wood, and I chose Medang burlwood, from Cambodia I think. The wood is amazing - because of the 3D effects. If you move and tilt the piece slightly, under a good light, the changing effects are stunning.

Multiplex core. Linseed oil finish.

Ever time starting to build a new slingshot, I said to me, let´s make a Moorhammer.
I love the design, and I am so curious how it will shoot, that next time I will
build one by myself.

If you allow me to use your design?

Very nice and outstanding work…

Sure, go ahead and try it! But you have been warned... once you have shot a Moorhammer, you won't likely want to go back to any other design.

Absolutely stunning! Even though I am a fan of your "bad ass" weapons, I personally enjoy your slingshot creations even more. They are incredible works of art!
By the way, congratulations on being invited to the Witch Hunter movie premiere! You and the Mrs looked like movie stars! I just wish I was there to get YOUR autograph! I've also always wondered, where do you find the time to do all the things you do (create weapons, carve slingshots, record videos, run a business, etc..)? I think a documentary on a typical Joerg Sprave day would be a great idea for a future video. Cheers!
