No offence, but the bands are cutted rather poor.
I would highly recommend to use a rotary cutter.
All in all it is a good video for novices.

Thats true Courier, but i sadly didnt have a rotary cutter, i tried to get through it with my Damask knife, but even that didnt work, well i gues a rotary cutter is the only way to go.

    Nice vid.
I made a video some time ago showing how to cut bands if you don' t have a rotary cutter. If you want to watch it, HERE is the link.

Aha ok One question: Do you spray your slingshots with clear coating or do you use clear coating from boat stores which you paint on the slingshot?

I use super glue to finish my slingshots. You can see how HERE.

Hmmm interesting but it seems quite a long and difficulat procedure, maybe a clear epoxy resin would be a good idea.

It is if you do like Nathan does. After several layers of super glue, i wet sand it with the highest grit i got and then just rub it with a cloth and metal cleaner. I think super glue finish is way more durable then any other finish( just my opinion).

Ok, ill try it later on my moorhamer, but right now i covered it in some ink Its pitch black now... should i use some 600 grit to sand away the first layer of ink to make the wood a dark brown?
