Nice ss.
Sorry for your hand. When i use a new slingshot i allways wear a glove until i am sure i wont hurt my hand( 1 or 2 days).

thats the luckiest thing i actually wore a glove, and not a thin one either this one normally gives me great protection but still it went through it and caused massive pain and swelling
so i cant imagine what would have happened if i didnt wear a glove

Some day i will try to make a slingshot with a shield for the hand. I saw something like that on one of Joerg' s video but i don' t remember where. I think, that' s the best way to protect the hand.

    No not that one.
It' s one with a shield starting from the fork to up on the top of the hand.
He also made a simple shield in leather.

I made a simple leather cover on my big ergonomic blaster. 3.5 straps like a covered claymore grip almost. It's not solid or very hard, but the leather takes all the impact from the bands when I'm shooting marbles instead of something heavier. I was shooting that without the cover, and a musket ball got stuck in the pouch and nailed me good haha. Next move was the cover (Once my finger healed up anyways haha)
