Nice mod - thats a coincidence, I bought 2 black widows, broke both handles/killed several bands and rebuilt one with a ash handle sight and lower fork, but kept the rubber, I use it for rock slinging - its what got me interested in making a better one.
Incidentally I use almost exactly the same bands on my normal cattys, but about a 112 draw and 12mm lead or M10 nuts.

    I don't yet have a chrony, (am probably going to order one today) , but i suspect about 70-80 m/s - the last little bit of stretch makes a difference, i get significantly more drop on my shots at 15m if i pull only 100cm (but more band life). I'll let you know when I buy a chrony.

I cast my own lead balls with a homemade mold, I bought the lead from scrap dealer and some from a friend. Both my ~12mm balls and the 10mm nuts i use weigh 10.3g

mass = density * radius^3 *4/3 = 11.34*.6*.6*.6*4/3 = 10.26g

I also use 16mm lead - but this needs much heavier bands/ full butterfly to get decent speed ~24g. Please be carefull if you cast any lead, both with fumes and the obvious heavy molten metal.
I cast the lead balls because I could not find a place for cheap steel balls (would very much like some 1" ones), and the lead is significantly cheaper - I only use the 10mm nuts as i don't like throwing lead into the environment when plinking outside.

    oops, sorry had a beer so forgot PI in the formula

mass = density * pi * radius^3 *4/3 = 11.34*3.1415962*.6*.6*.6*4/3 = 10.26g

    half at about 112-115cm, i am fairly accurate at 15m, but nowhere near as good as some of the hawk eyes here. I am trying to learn full butterfly, as i have a 185cm draw, but the accuracy is poor (i need to practice with weaker bands and lighter ammo, and think about my stance etc.).

    No, just 183cm, but I have a large Ape factor, when i was rock climbing (before i got fat,weak and injured ) this was considered cheating by the shortarses
Recent interest in slingshots came about as a fun way to exercise damaged hands, I might be one of the only people here to use theraband for exercise before slingshots.

Anyway got to go now its dark and get a fork i spotted while dog walking
