I have been getting back in touch with slingshots for the past few months. I have been doing pretty good at 30' range and then some. When I was a kid we only had the tube type that we could buy at the old Coast to Coast hardware stores back in the day. Now I see all kinds of stuff and have tried several. I find that I'm all over the place with flat bands. The tube type I have mixed feeling about. I have tried all different colors which are suppose to signify different strengths. I find the tapered for me is good. How can I improve on being versitle on all types? I would like to have a slingshot set up for flat bands. Then another one on tubes that I can rely on. Thanks

when using flatbands, go for theraband gold tapered from 25 down to 20 mm. this works well and is good for hunting. use double though.

if u use tubes, i would say dub dub elastic is the strongest i know of. they put out 230 fps with lead balls.
