In my new website i just added a section for sling shot.
I used original Jorg Calc but i add 2 parameters

http://www.airgunforge.com/slingshot-band-lenghtwidth-calculator/

the parameters interest the pouch weight and the bands lenght to fix the bands at pouch and at fork

    Hi Otta
I think Joerg' s bands calculator already include the attachment...I am not sure but if so, adding 2cm will just weaken the performance.

hi, i dont' think that adding 2 cm will weak perfomance because if the cm are fixed they wont elongate so there isn't less power in performance.. i tested it with chrony...

Oh, ok... I thought if adding 2 more cm would less the performance for the same draw lenght. I am really not good in calculating/understanding those things

yes, if u add 2 cm at same draw lenght u get less perfomarce... this is a rule XD
but the 2 cm added are used for fixing the bands, so the total lenght visible is the same.

this coz joerg calc (i think) don't calculate the cm needed to fix the bands at fork or at pouch...

i'll do some studies, you can keep u update on www.airgunforge.com , but i think i'll post here too.

    Let me be more "precise".
I calculated a drawlenght of 100cm and a stretch factor of 4x (the best for performance/bands life) (don't care about tapering, it's just for illustration)

here 2 example that shows Joerg Calc is not correct at all

I don't wanna flame anyone but after my test (with chrony too) i realized that there is no correct calc in band lenght for the fix at pouch and at fork.
