ballistic gelatin

    do you by your ballistic gelatin or make it ? and if you make it cvan you tell me how

    You can buy packets of ballistic gel mix, but places I've looked are really expensive and you have to buy a lot. One cheat I've read about for a pretty close substitute is just to buy unflavored food type gelatin mix and mix it with water at a ratio of 16oz. of gel to each gallon of water.

    You can use any kind of gelatine, but then your results may not be representative.<br><br>Only certified ballistic gelatin, prepared by following the provided instructions to the letter, will deliver scientifically useable data. <br><br>I buy my Gelatin from the world market leader, the Gelita corporation (<a href="http://www.gelita.com)." target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.gelita.com).</a> 200 gramms of gelatin powder will give you 1 kg end product. Gelita does not sell less than 25 kg at a time.
