As you know I like both slingshots AND knives. Combining them is somewhat irresistible to me. When I found a good deal on this Böker "Reality Based Blade" automatic folder on amazon, and saw that it had an EXCHANGEABLE little glass breaker tip, I simply ordered one. I really like this thing, it looks mean as heck and the blade is sharp and very pointy. The action is powerful, too. The glass breaker is indeed removable, it basically is a screw. I designed a small slingshot fork that ideally should be made from aluminum - but for a test, I just used plywood. As the screw is rather small (4 mm), I needed a more solid anchor point for the fork and found it: The lanyard hole, 5 mm in diameter. The fork I made uses both attachment points for a rock solid assembly. I use Dankung tubular rubber loops here as they are more compact and look cleaner. They are held in place by 3 mm steel pins through the 8 mm holes in the fork tips. This is a true PFS that must be shot finger support AND flip style - but it is really compact. The fork has one more advantage: It doubles up as the best thumb rest I have ever seen. This gives so much more purchase for stabbing! Very important in a world that prepares for the inevitable Zombie apocalypse.
