I use scrap pieces of theraband to attach my bands to the pouch and forks and its probably the best thing to use because it wont cut into you bands and the should last longer

I agree theraband scraps is the best way to attach slingshots. The best rope to buy that is very thin and will not snap in a million years is the kind that is used on spear guns for retrieving the rod. But it is expensive, about 0,50 euro per meter

Thin TB scraps wrapped works good, I put a loop of string under the last few wraps, tuck the TB tail through the string loop and pull it under the TB wraps. I also use the waxed string for leather work. its lighter then the TB strips. Constrictor knot is good, I have even used a square knot with some success. The string wrap should be snug, but the knot needs to be pulled real tight. This make any sense?
