As far as I am aware they are not illegal as Black widows, Barnett Diablo's etc all with wrist braces are readily available in shooting and fishing shops.

Mr.Danny, what would be the problem with this specific models of slingshots? Why are they not allowed in the UK?

no no no. i don't know anything. i might be wrong, so i always add something like "afaik" or "don't know exactly".

i recommend everyone to check the law of their own country/state/district/... impossible for me to do research for all of them (in foreign language too).

They are allowed in the UK however in countries such as Germany they are not.

In the UK catapults are still classed as children's toys and are not regulated as such.

In Germany, slingshots are classified as toys/sports equipment, but a wrist brace is illegal in general as these are classified as 'precision slingshots' Obviciously, they never saw our 'Happy shooter' in action...:D

Yes exactly. However this is too difficult to regulate anyway so they don't bother

Cool, go for it. I think it's a great idea and will be probably making a folding one.
