Applewood fish-design slingshot

    My latest SS, 18mm multiplex and rotten applewood.
    Fistgrip, the fork is only 3cm high, great for strong bands.
    The shape is my fish-design, massive and simple.
    Finished with olive oil, still needs wax and final polish.
    There was a small wormhole in the applewood, I decided to integrate it and it looks nice, like an eye:)

    That looks great Achso! I love applewood and that provides for a great looking palmswell on this piece. I like the 'fish' style. Looks like a great hammer grip shooter.

    Put some bacon the applewood and it would be perfect. But all kidding aside great looking SS, Bravo.

    That's a sweet shooter!

    I was wondering about ways to use softer woods to make a safe slingshot,

    I didn't consider laminating it to multiplex like that. I have some pecan wood that was just waiting for this idea, thanks!
