That´s what i Thought that the arrow will not hit the target accurate without fletch. but a good Idea anyway I think it´s a good way just the wrong material. whats about rubber? It hold it on place and don´t cut the fletch.
Or is there some other negativ propertis by using rubber for this.

I hope you undersand what i mean today my head is standing quiet in front of explode. (terrible headache) And my english isn´t realy good when i´m in good condition so i hope you will undersand what i wrote above.

by the way nice ss you´ve made! i like the look.

  11. You may want to swap that ring for a whisker biscuit, they are pretty cheap ($15 american or so from amazon) and will save your arrow's fletching and improve your accuracy even more.

  13. Yeah, shipping to other countries from the USA is almost an arm and a leg in cost, glad you were able to find one at a walmart, the one by my house here in California, USA doesn't have them.

A couple folks on here, I think, used little dollar store bottle brushes. Twisted wire stem with nylon "whiskers". Cut it off the handle and bend into a circle. Cheap whisker biscuit. Maybe anyone that has made one will throw up a pic for you.

  19. Jeorg has a video of him using a whisker biscuit made in such a fashion and it does work. Though not so well as one made for the purpose.
