I've owned one "real" slingshot, a "Hornet" "world's most powerful slingshot" made by a local engineer. Big fancy thing with pulleys, usually throw short 3/8" bolts w/ nuts on, puts them through cardboard like nothing. My mom loads a handfull of gravel into the pouch, uses it to shoo off magpies. Heh, they used to think they were safe 12-15 meters up in the poplars... Only takes a couple of stung tailfeathers to teach them to get well out of & away from the yard when they see mom...<br>I've owned a few configured, shape-wise, like Joerg's, but of lesser, toy-grade materials.
