    Hello slingshot enthusiasts!

I've played around a bit with anodizing aluminium and that is the outcome. A simple 10 mm aluminium board cut splash anodized.

I hope you like it. Thanks for watching!

    Came out really nice :)

I think i´ve seen a "Half under Water" Pic somewhere before fits this PFS very well.

Have you anodized it yourself, at home? Like in those youtube Tutorials?

    Looks really nice :)

    Awesome pattern!

I really like how the red has a silver or grey border around it.

I never thought about doing my own anodizing, although many of the aluminum hand railings I made were anodized professionally by another company.

I'd be interested to know how to do that.

The shooter is really cool too, as well as the background in the photo. Is that an indoor creek?

    Thanks a lot Onnod!

    Thanks Snader!

Thank you Dolo! In fact to archieve that pattern it has been bathed in nail polish (stole it from my daughter - don't tell her:D)

    Thank you beaver!

Hey, good Idea! Next time when I meet the guys I will ask them :D Thanks a lot!

Arturo!!!! Thanks for stopping by! I will band it up today for some shooting tests. Hopefully I won't get a fork hit - tho, could be a good test for the durability of the anodized surface

Thank you Antraxx! I took the pics with my compact camera. One day I have to look for a DSLR.
Yes, I've anodized it at home. I was interested in the process, so I thought to give it a try.

    Thanks my friend!

    Thank you Flipgun.

Thanks buckshot! The silver border was not planned. Ive messed up the deanodize process of the red color a bit and that leads to this effect, but you are right - it looks quite cool. The best things were always discovered by coincidence
There are a couple of vids about homemade anodizing like this one:[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJBo4vuhp48"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJBo4vuhp48[/ame]
I can post a few step by step pics if interested.

Thanks my friend! Our preferred color combination, right?

    Thank you Ghost!

Thanks Jeremy, glad that you like it!

Great work! And of course I wonder how you managed to create
red stains with a white outline!

    Great work!
