So i just received my flipstylw Y and Bill Hayes ranger (THANKS A MILLION TO ghost0311/8541!!) Im into rabbit and quail hunting. However im not sure what i should use to shoot them with!! I have 5-6 pound piece of clay (laguna brand) and im thinking of making some of my own ammo! But i was wondering, will clay even do the trick? What mm should i make? I know in one of bill hays video he shoots straight through a rabbit with " .41 caliber lead ball", but what would that be MM? Thanks!
And special thanks a million to ghost0311/8541 for the presents!!!!

About 10-12 mm! I thought you Americans hate the metric system?!

But do you thing clay is heavy enough?
Instead I would recommend u marbles!

Or you pay a bit for real steelballs!

Don't use clay for hunting. Lead and steel balls work a lot better.

If you are going to hunt with a slingshot, you should always use the most effective ammo, LEAD. There are several videos and tutorial on how to cast your own ammo, if you don't want to buy it. But never hunt with anything lighter than lead.

Brian

Lead is not safe around babies. Keep that in mind. My son currently has lead poisoning, and we are doing everything we can to get his lead level down.
