Fantastic job! Looks like a bird of my country, the TUCANO (check it on Google later). Dose it keep that color, like, forever? Can you reproduce it? Do you sell your blades?

Thanks. Yes, as far as i Know, it will keep the colour. I can reproduce the shape, but the colour wont look exactly like on this one, so every One i make is goin to be unique. I have a Shop at gearbastion.com, but this One is Not listed so far. We can Talk if you are interessted.

    [IMG] Gorgeous!

This very certainly is an amazing looking blade. I love it! You'll have no trouble finding a happy home for that bad boy.

Those red scales are drop dead dynamite! Looks like Kirinite to me. Pretty cool stuff. And that's some great smithing skills you're demonstrating as well. I'm going to have to visit your web store to see what else you've got (my dad said you can never have too many blades, so I might have to find out if this is true). [IMG]

Thanks for showing it to us.

I've seen stuff made of or containing Titanium do that.

Like I said before, they just get better and better. I like the shape of this one and that is nice heat coloring, though it will scratch with use. Can't say I like the red scales with the coloring. Wood or blue, black, white acrylic would of set off the coloring nicer. But that's just my POV. Love the butt of the handle especially. Great shape!

have to agree with the handle, should have used a black or blue one instead, well to late now. :D
of course the coloring will scratch, but so will black colored blades or polished.

I don't know... That red looks pretty awesome to me. I would not regret it at all. Yes, black and blue would look great too. But of course, I think you could put just about any color scale with that blade and it would look awesome. In the photo, I do see some reddish tones. So no problem, really.

You guys are just being too picky. :p
