    Hiya,
just finished my latest project an altoids tin shooter. Its made out of a scrap sheet of 6mm aluminium and is easily assembled with a pen knife or screwdriver head. I'm using 9mm steel balls and looped dankung 1745 tubes which seems to work well for target shooting.

Slick little build! I love the small ones and Altoids tin shooters are great. Looks like yours has full size shooter attitude, good job and design!

I like that a lot. If I had some skill with aluminum, I'd try one myself. Nice work.

I remeber there was a Altoids Tin Slingshot-making contest on the other forum... Anyone interested to get one going here?

    And nice slingy! :)

I like this little shooter a lot. So smooth and shiny--the raven inside me approves heartily.

Any excuse for more cool little slingies in boxes to be created is a good excuse.
A contest, or just a deadline/showthread would be fun--and make for another great SSC photo album:cool:.

Thanks everyone! It's not so great up close but its definitely functional, I used just basic tools; hacksaw, files and plenty of time! I'm happy to post the templates if anyone would like them?
I got the idea from the competition thread on the other forum, would be great to see one on here too!

Excellent little shooter, even more impressive that it was made using hand tools. Great stuff.

Templates? Ooooh, go on then! ;)
