All Natural!

    So a small tree nearby got uprooted in a storm and I quickly scavenged some of the forks. This is my first ever attempt!

    #1: After many microwaving sessions (i live in a tropical wet climate so there's no other way)

    #2: It's taking shape!

    #3: Final product! After sanding with 100 grit sandpaper followed by 320 grit, and applying first layer of lemon oil - will add more layers over the days. the wood grain pattern is starting to show.

    That's a great fork! Good character on the grain, too. Let us know how she shoots.

    Thats some really nice work, great looking slinger. Never heard of using lemon oil either, never even heard of lemon oil to be honest!

    Thanks for the compliment! Unfortunately, ive no idea what kind of wood this is. It was quite a small tree. Im also quite new to woodwork so yah...

    I happened to find it in the storeroom haha. this is the exact one [​IMG]
