Hello!

Below is a link to my new video which displays just some of the slings potential accuracy over short distances.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV3MFmiDVcA

Accuracy is achieved with the sling easier with shots 60% to 75% power, however, with full power shots are much harder to control. My video shows contrast between slinging for accuracy and slinging for power. Hope you will enjoy the video!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oV3MFmiDVcA

Thanks,

Nick.

    Hi there,
First of all, i know that slinging is not as easy as it looks like. I tried it some years( i mean, a lot of years) ago and i was able to... destroy a window behind me . Never tried again but seeing you shooting makes me want to try it again, in safer conditions . I noticed when you go for accuracy, the balls are flying in a curve and when you go for power they fly more strait. Am i right? Anyway, great vid and awesome shooting mate. Thanks for sharing.

PS: A tennis ball in the face is probably painful, i imagine the damages a rock will do .

Wow! Excellent job there. I'm with toksick - seeing you do that makes me suddenly wanna try. Always been afraid of clobbering myself with a rock. I never considered using tennis balls.

Don't worry, we've all been there haha Thanks for the feedback!

You are correct, the tennis balls fly straight when I'm going for power and curve when I'm going for accuracy. I usually use about 65-75% power when slinging for accuracy. The tennis balls decelerate extremely quickly and are taken by wind very easily. Additionally, I think there might be some spin on the ball from the release which helps it to curve too.

Haha, try some tennis balls and an open field

Cool. I definitely want to try that. I like the look of that green/slate bi-colored one you have for your avatar. I followed the link and it's call the Rockman Sling. Well... that certainly rocks! Thanks for those links.
