    Great forum so far, I like the layout.<br>Keep the stickies to a minimum.<br>On some gun forums there are up to half a dozen stickies in some sections!

    Hello Thomas,<br><br>Name's Ivan (aka Ivo). I run a forum built on the same Forumotion platform as this one.<br><br>A few suggestions, these are really helpful <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_pirat.png" alt="pirat" longdesc="23"> :<br><br><ul>
    <br><li>
    <strong>Recent Topics </strong>(sidebar)<br>
    </li>
    </ul>
    <br>Definitely a useful feature, especially with the inevitable increase in traffic....it really brings the forum to life! <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br><br><table class="spoiler" width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="center">
    <tr><td style="cursor: pointer;"><span class="genmed"><b>Spoiler:</b></span></td></tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="spoiler_closed">*</td>
    <td class="spoiler_content hidden">To activate it:<strong> Administration Panel> Modules> Portal & Widgets> Forum widget management></strong> ...and and simply drag and drop <strong>"Recent Topics"</strong> tab on either the left or the right side of the forum and Save the changes.<br><br>I'm not sure, but I believe you can also add a widget that shows the latest blog entry, a youtube channel (latest video), ... pretty much anything as there's lots of helpful (<i>as well as useless</i> <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_tongue.png" alt="tongue" longdesc="24"> ) little HTML things that you can stick on the forum.</td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <span class="postbody"><br><br><ul>
    <br><li>
    <strong>Show First Post</strong><br>
    </li>
    </ul>
    <br>Basically shows the first post at the top no matter how many pages the topic has. Comes in handy in topics that are several pages long and since the original post is always there it serves as a reminder of what the original theme of the topic is about (for those who don't realize that the topic once had a beginning and that that's where you should start reading).<br><br><table class="spoiler" width="90%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" border="0" align="center">
    <tr><td style="cursor: pointer;"><span class="genmed"><b>Spoiler:</b></span></td></tr>
    <tr>
    <td class="spoiler_closed">*</td>
    <td class="spoiler_content hidden">To Activate: <strong>Administration Panel> General> Messages & e-mails> Always show the first post in the topics = Yes</strong>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <span class="postbody">Well, that's all I can add for now. Try these out and see how it works out for you. <img src="http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" longdesc="2"><br>Regards,<br><br><font color="blue"><strong>Ivo</strong></font></span></span>
