Look forward to : painted metal, more polished wenge and fork tips made out of wenge (waiting on a piece).
I really love Wenge. The wood falls off in flakes almost and powder rather than chips sorta, really makes for nice handles and fun to shape.

Thanks! The wood grain is very nice, I need a sunnier day to show you though
I took three layers of wood, carved out a slot in the middle layer and the top of the outer layers and sank the fork in, cut a piece off the bottom and glued it on top to seal it up after filling hole with appropriate fastener (superglue)

But you could accomplish the same with a drill and a little sandpaper, or dremel a lot quicker.
