Hello! :) These are my first slingshots with TBG.

This first one is an "apocalypse Zombie killer" It's made from steel wrapped with thick paracord

The second one is made from spuce and oiled with cooking oil because we are out of linseed oil

Please tell me what you think, they're not the best but, whatever.:D

Nice work Filip! Both looks great!

Have you strength-tested the pine slingshot? Attach ropes to the forks and clamp the slingshot in a vice. Pull as hard as you can in the rope. If the slingshot holds it's safe.

nice slingshots ... yes ... beware with pine, specially if you are using 2 or 3 TBG bands per side and would give more turns to the fork attachment ??? ...
    Cheers

Good job . I like the steel one . Think you used 4 mm steel for
concrete working . Is that true ? Does it stand the double thera gold ?
I will try to make the same . (If I can use your idea )

I absolutely love the look of the metal one. I get jealous of everyone's creativity and skill everyone I look at the fantastic homemade pieces on here.

:)Some new catapults of mine, and I found the Red metal coat hooks? In a bargain shop,I've screwed one securely in where a small screwdriver blade used to be , the other ones going into the 50 cal bullet casing,I'm thinking of using that metallic epoxy putty, sealed up and maybe a semi tapered dubdub for the elastic.
