    Hey everybody,

one of my last projects, came to life while I was preparing
the build of the X-mas trade siblings.
Two scrap pieces of birchwood multiplex,
(there is no "waste" when working with wood..)
Nathan´s words "I like small slingshots",
a little idea, downsizing the blueprint,
    letting it go 3D..

Varnished with Le tonkinois/gelomat (1:1), ended up silky
    with a very natural feel.

Hope you like the little rascal!

I love the way you use multiplex in unsual ways. It makes your slingshots very unique. Good stuff! :)

Be, that's a great use of your scraps! I like smaller slingshots too, this one is sweet.

    What can I say?

    A good boy!

After taking the pics, I banded up this little rascal
and we became friends instantly!- Here´s one more
picture showing him playing with a 7mm steel ball
    - which stressed the little can in the catchbox a bit..

    :)

    thanks for your nice comments!

This slingshot has a look that reminds me of the work of M. C. Escher. The lines come at you from places and in ways that you do not expect- yet it all fits together perfectly. Be, you are most wonderfully infected! Thank you for showing us this excellent use of your talent and imagination. Well done!

I really like that slingshot - I'm a big fan of little slingshots, so this is very appealing to me. Your work with multiplex is really nice, I love the way you change up the directions of the layers, as you did with the "Priest". An artist with multiplex. Nicely done.

Breathless, Be! I wish we had this kind of plywood or multiplex in Brazil! Our plywood is a real crap compared to this!
    Amazing!

Man I really dig your work. I just wish I could find that wood where I live. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and order it online.

    Until later

Excellent work Be! Great design elements mixed with the double crossed heal lamination and the then the side profile just blows it up imo! I like to call the forward slanted forks, with a reduced egde on the back side, "Fast Forward Forks!" It's a treat to look at and I'm sure it's also one to hold and shoot too!
