    Hi everyone,

it´s day eleven since that "thing" broke out,
the fourth slingshot wanted to be brought to life!- I helped him out
(for it´s a little boy this time)

Will this ever end?- I fear it won´t- already getting nervous again! :)

    Greetings,

    Be

(Is there Zombies permanently feeling urged to build slingshots?..
...no, no, NO!- that can´t be true! maybe I should buil

4th Slingshot - day eleven - do you want some break a record ....?

I had already said, very nice shape, and very precisely worked out. Truly it is a beauty.

Have used three varieties of multiplex? Birch and beech, and a third layer of dark wood…

Or have I seen it wrong?

What is the finish, just a high grid?

You got it right! Basis was some 10 or 12 mm multiplex.
Inbetween two layers of those i put one 2mm layer of beech rotary veneer.
On the outsides three layers of that dark wood (guessit´s teak?)
On top of that three layers of that 2mm beech rotary veneer, which were
cut in half and glued to two layers of upright 2mm birch plywood.

Slickness by 150gr. lacquer-sanding paper, finishing off with some
nonwoven (alu-oxide) of maybe grain 200 (don´t know exactly).

    That´s it- no magic

Be, your disease is progressing nicely! I see you've already become an elite builder of plex, I can't seem to get a feel for it, normal wood is my better friend;). I'm heading out to my shop right now to try my hand with aluminum plate.

    Beautiful shape, great execution.
The sickness will only get worse if you will not keep it in check, limiting yourself to 1 slingshot a week would be a start.
Just kiding. Run mad with it, good job.
