Hi S4A,

I think it could break when shootin' because you used your wood with the fibers( i don' t know the exact term) horizontally instead of vertically. If i am wrong, please someone, correct me. But i think it could be terrible for your face if it happen.

I have been making inquires on the forum about an Iron Bark Hammer Grip.
Finally found a post, yay!

Looks good, I love the colour and the smell when your working it. But wood is strongest with the grain, so 90deg either way.
I'm not knocking it, but I would seriously test its breaking strength before going anywhere near. My kahoonahs are just too small.

Going looking for a Blue Gum or Iron Bark for this weekend, hopefully I can find something :)

You are right tokSick, it would be stronger if the grain went from top to bottom.
That said Ironbark is damn strong stuff, there shouldnt be a problem as long as it doesnt have excessive bands on it. I'd still excercise caution though.

Looks fantastic though S4A, good work
