The "new" slingshot is the one on the right. I made it in about 10 minutes. Originally I used office style rubber bands but they kept breaking, and were pretty weak. I swapped for the band shown...
I have been thinking of just that slingshot the scout. But the cost of shipping from the US is pretty steep.
