Don't leave the group if you are at odds with one. Unless you aren't enjoying being here for other reasons. I think if you read posts as of late, you notice a bit of backlash against said person due to their manner of speaking. I like it here as it seems most are very polite and don't start shit unlike many other forums.

I just delete pieces of my posts today because i was to direct and that was not smart. The slingshotboy have to learn things and it was not the good way i was using. Hope he will understand, i don' t want him to leave either. I was a little pissed off and that was not a good exemple.

Could it be that maybe there is a language/translation causing some of the issue here. I think it may. In other forums, I've been a proponent of as big a selection of the "smilies" or "emocon's" as possible and they're frequent use to convey and clarify the tone of ones text. Without a facial expression to go with sarcasm, it can often be read as an attack or put-down. Also, careful rereading of your comments or clarifying them if think someone has taken them the wrong way. Especially if the comment is not in your first language. I'm hoping may that is all that has happened here. Sllingshot, you may need to check your typing and the quality of your chosen words. Maybe you're not saying what you're meaning too. Also, Survivalist, you need to have a bit of thick skin to be a survivalist, in the woods AND on the web. Hang in there.

I agree, no reason to leave.

This is a largely uncensored forum. As good as that sounds, it means that a lot of things may be said that can hurt people. As long as the posts are polite, they will not be censored. In fact, I never censored ANYTHING here so far - although I did send a few PMs, asking for a more appropriate tone. People always reacted accordingly.

If you want to be a part of an uncensored discussion forum, you have to have a somewhat thick skin. That's just unavoidable. The alternative would be a heavily moderated and therefore amputated forum - we have one of these already, don't we.

I say if you don't like a post, just ignore it. It will disappear into oblivion soon enough.

If you really want to leave, you can either just stop posting, or simply send me a PM and I will remove you.

@ slingshotboy: One tip from a somewhat experienced manager: If you
want your critizism to hit the mark, wedge it in between two praises.
Otherwise people will simply feel attacked. It is not hard. If you see a design that is so bad that you can't say ANYTHING positive about it, it is not worth critizism at all.

I was too" expressive" maybe and i know, i was wrong. My fault... I send a PM to tell what i think was wrong and to apologize too. I hope that member will understand and take it like an advice. Joerg, you( normally) can see it as admin, i was polite. Once again, sorry for that it will not happen again. I got to apply my advices to myself too.
