Hello. I have recently started shooting hammer grip style. I am liking it so far, however I am experiencing some soreness in the soft tendony bit between the thumb and forefinger. It seems to be that this is where most of the draw weight is put on to.
Does anyone else find this?

PandaMan

You may need to thicken your handle. That might do the trick. I just switched back to finger and thumb support and I am way more accurate than before. I shot hammer grip for about a month and now my skills have improved for some reason?

I know this is a really old topic, but did thickening your handle work? I used to get soreness there as well, which I fixed by shortening the forks, and bringing the bands closer to the handle.

Making the handle thicker helped with the soreness, yes.

A picture may help for an advice.

What bands/tubes do you shoot? Maybe too heavy?
