The Verminator MKII was evaluated by the german BKA (Bundeskriminalamt) to classify it and get a legal status:

Jörg did a vid on this arrow shooter a while ago.

Surprisingly, according to german law its completely legal, not classified as a Weapon, firearm or does fall under crossbow rules , so its completely free here, no restrictions at all:cool: If he had the money a 15y old could buy one and shoot it everywhere as long as no innocents are endangered.

I am quite surprised by this ruling, since its in fact a fairly powerful weapon that packs more punch than the freely avaliable (and regulated) airguns....

And this is the never ending story of German laws.
The problem is not the weapon. Mostly the problem is standing behind.
Length of knifes in public 9,6 cm. Most kitchen knifes are longer. So be carefull at dinner.And......

These words are not against you Ralf. Had to read it twice. It could come over this way. I'm behind your words.

More info on this thing. WARNING: It is edited to not show anything graphic, but there is a hunting theme.

I just have to play "Klugscheißer": Actually it's 12 cm for fixed knives in public. :)

Well, usually all they do is make more silly laws, try to rule & regulate everything to the extreme and of cause up the taxes...

So in this instant I was pleasantly surprised by the evaluation. I would have expected a much more restrictive classification. Very unlike the common trend things usually go nowaday.
I can buy the regular 7.5joule airguns but I am not allowed to make one. Building an air powered arrow shooter instead would be legal...

The downside to the FX verminator is the fairly hefty price tag...

According to the ruling the airrow guns seem to be legal also then.

I like the little dart pistol:

Hopefully, you are ALREADY pitching that to the guys at FX, or at least working on a patent!
