TD and I are about 450 miles apart but occasionally our paths cross a bit closer. I was in London doing some building maintenance and we arranged to meet up. It was cold and dark by the time we got to TDs wood but with a bit of illumination we got shooting. TD got better and better. I started okay and got worse and worse. Here are some edited highlights just as TD was entering the zone with some gusto.

a good evenings shooting... the talent jim brought along i stole at the end... although i think the frame swap to a certian un natty natty courtesy of our resident racoon helped...
its a shame the cold stopped play a little earlier than i would have liked... but a few cups of tea back at the TD mansion sorted out the cold fingers...

so not just a great shoot, but also a good chat about all things forum related... and few non forum...

i eagerly await the next time when i hope the weather and daylight are more in our favour...

we still managed a few hours of night shooting...

liturally what you see on cam is all we had to work with...

also i showed off the trade shooters from everyone i have traded with...

the work and finish has been appreciated in person by now 2 slingshooters...

Who had more shots on target doesn't really matter. Two mates sharing some banter and shooting time is what it's all about. Good stuff chaps!

"And I got it on camera as well." Classic line.

agreed... that hard hitting THWACK is on the list of the best sounds...

right up there with the V8 rumble and a baby's laugh...

but i rarely get to have a proper shoot with anyone... especially somebody as skilled as Jim...

and being able to talk tips and tricks all while shooting and having a laugh is a great experience... i highly recommend meeting up with a fellow shooter if you have not managed it already...

thanks again for paying me a visit Jim, always a pleasure :)
