I completely agree with Jörg. I understand the danger associated with what I do and accept them I don't encourage anybody to do anything they don't fully understand or are not comfortable with.

I can see the pull of the dark side but fortunately for me I'm not strong enough to go there.

I see 200 Joule of energy with a handheld slingshot as a possible goal. Hard work, a new fully ergonomic slingshot wither wider fork tips and a $h!tload of Terrorband Gold will help me to reach that goal.
I have to admit the first shot with that beast was very scary but I never felt happier while shooting a slingshot. The key for a safe shot is a lot of training to handle the power and confidence in what you're doing.

My apologies for not starting this with a warning. This is a very risky, dangerous pursuit folks. While it may seem that those of us pursuing this goal make it look easy, that is far from the truth. Many of us have worked our way up to this point. One does not simply walk into a gym and become an Olympic weightlifter in one week. It takes months and years of training. Consider this thread the Olympics for slingshot power. Newbies are advised to enjoy by observing.

Not quite the 100mps quoted but I just used my standard out and about setup. A little tinkering would see it happen no problem.

That's how it's done. I still have bread crumbs to eat.
What size is that ammo? Around 40mm i guess. I was looking at my bronze Moorhammer today thinking: "why bother with crazy shapes when the perfect demolition tool is right there?" You are right. Good job!

Yes they are 40mm. I managed 112 fps (152 joule) while the videos were uploading but no video no proof.

Well... I guess I need to double up the rubber and get heavier ammo. A new slingshot with bigger forks for wider bands is necessary, too. You'll hear from me
