When I am getting bored at work, I open youtube and watch some slingshot action ;-)
...and sometimes I start spinning my pen (until it falls on the floor and rolls under the desk)

When I'm in front of the television I'll often flick open and closed my Benchmade mini grip using various opening methods. Drives the family crazy. With a little practice you can open that thing in almost any way imaginable. (thumb flick, middle finger flick, wrist, spydie-drop, reverse spydie, axis swing, and more )

Besides that, I recently bought my first zippo lighter. I don't smoke or anything, but as an avid outdoorsman I find it a great tool. And those things are damn near impossible to put down. You just want to hear that famous zippo "click".

Yeah, got to love zippo! only downside is the fuel evaporates quickly.

To prevent zippo fuel from evaporating I put a small piece of bycicle rubber around it, I haven't refilled mine in like 6 weeks

But when flicking you open them up anyway so then that doesn't help...

Tried the bicycle rubber and I couldn't get along with the idea of having to move it before opening the case. It's not pressurized so I doubt too much evaporates from opening and closing the case........ and fuel is like $3-5 a bottle so no big deal.

If you work in an office:

Find someone who fiddles with trinkets and bobbles when on the phone. Then, get a big, palm-sized capacitor and charge it with a megger. Set it near the phone and watch the fun!

Back in my Navy days, we pulled that prank quite often. We knew we scored when we heard the loud, 'POW!' followed by a scream.
